Mac Windows: The One Key to Rule Them All

There’s nothing wrong with a messy Mac screen that’s chock-full of overlapping windows. But what if you want to switch to a particular window to copy text or view a calendar date quickly? To find your window of choice more quickly, press the Mission Control/F3  key on your Apple keyboard—it’s on the top row of keys, above the 3 key. That opens Mission Control’s All Windows view, which shows all your open windows in an orderly view. Then click the window you want to switch to it! (If you don’t have an Apple keyboard with a Mission Control key, press Control-Up arrow instead; on a MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar, press < to expand the Control Strip and then tap the Mission Control button in the third slot on the Touch Bar.)
