Apple Products

Apple has already had a very busy product release schedule in the first half of 2024, but things are going to dramatically pick up in pace to finish out the year. So far they’ve shaken things up with a new product category (Vision Pro) and all new iPads – including a redesigned 11-inch/13-inch M4 iPad Pro and new 11-inch/13-inch M2 iPad Air models. The iPads come in different colors and offer great performance and design and were also introduced with the Apple Pencil Pro.

Apple also launched a new M3 MacBook Air back in March 2024 which is an amazing all around performer in a very light and easy to carry package. Keep reading to see what else has come out and what is in store.

But what’s in store is going to be a much bigger deal.

Upcoming Apple Products

Apple is going to have a fairly action packed release schedule for Fall 2024 with the obvious elephant in the room (iPhone 16 series) launching alongside a series of other major lineup refreshes. Here are the Apple products we expect coming out throughout the rest of the year:

iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max

Apple is set to launch the iPhone 16 series during their September event on 9/09/2024. This series will heavily feature AI technology. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are expected to maintain the same display sizes as their predecessors but may be equipped with the A18 Pro chip or a new A18 chip. Anticipated upgrades include improvements to the camera, new color options, and the integration of AI features in iOS 18. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are rumored to have larger displays, a dedicated camera button, enhanced camera capabilities (such as improved low-light performance and 5x optical zoom), and the powerful A18 Pro chip specifically designed for AI.

Apple Watch Series 10

Expect bigger displays for both standard sizes of the Apple Watch Series 10, along with a slimmer case and a more powerful chip. There’s also talk of potential health sensors for detecting hypertension and sleep apnea.

Apple Watch Ultra 3

This rumor came as a bit of a surprise, but Apple is likely to announce the Watch Ultra 3 at the September 9th “It’s Glowtime” event alongside the Series 10. While details are scarce, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to match the Series 10’s new capabilities, including a faster chip. A space black titanium option is also a possibility.

AirPods 4

The 4th generation of AirPods is set to be announced at the Apple Event on September 9th. This lineup will consist of two tiers: one targeting entry-level buyers and the other targeting the mid-tier market. The AirPods 4 will offer both a more affordable option and a premium model, both of which are expected to come with USB-C charging cases and a new stem design. Noise cancellation and Find My support may be exclusive to the higher-end model.

M4 MacBook Pro

New MacBook Pro models with M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips are expected this fall. While a major redesign is unlikely, the performance boost from the M4 chips should be significant.

iPad Mini 7

The long-awaited iPad mini update is rumored to include an upgraded display, a revised chip, and possibly even an M-class chip for Apple Intelligence compatibility.

iPad 11th Gen

A new base-model iPad is also on the horizon, featuring a newer, more powerful chip and potential Apple Pencil enhancements.

M4 iMac

New iMacs with M4 chips are expected before the year ends, though a redesign or major new features are unlikely.

M4 Mac Mini

The Mac mini is set for a major redesign, becoming drastically smaller and gaining M4 and M4 Pro chip options.
