Donation Requests
Simply Mac actively supports numerous philanthropic causes in our communities. This commitment includes our support of MDA, monetary donations, advisory board participation, volunteer programs and product donations.
Simply Mac receives dozens of requests for charitable giving every month. In order to make a meaningful difference for the organizations we support, we look for consistent, quality philanthropic programs that improve and change lives.
Please follow these steps if you would like to submit a request for a charitable contribution from Simply Mac:
Ensure your request meets the criteria for selection below:
- Eligible areas for requests:
- Health and human services
- Education
- Civic and community involvement
- Environment
- The IRS letter certifying 501(c)(3) exempt status
- Evidence that the service is a response to a valid need, is superior to other competing services and/or encourages collaboration with other organizations for maximum leverage
- Mail your written request to: Simply Mac Charitable Giving, Attn: Ann Johnson, 3939 S. Wasatch Blvd. Ste #1, Salt Lake City, UT 84124. Please include a contact name, phone number and email address. We will contact you after receiving your preliminary request.
Below is a list of proposal types not eligible for consideration:
- Direct donations to individuals (i.e. scholarship or fellowship assistance, pageants, medical funds, sponsorships)
- Endowment, Capital or building campaigns
- Equipment, including computer hardware and software
- Film or video projects, including documentaries
- For-Profit entities, including start-up small businesses
- Hospitals
- Marketing activities or events centered on sports/athletic personalities and/or their activities
- Multi-year requests
- Political, labor, religious or fraternal organizations/activities
- Promotional merchandise
- Travel-related, including student trips or tours
- Vehicles
